About Me

Leah Lotous Michalopoulou: Leah Lotous Michalopoulou lives in Kent UK. She was born in Thessaloniki in 1981. In 2014, she moved from Greece with her family to the UK. Lotous is currently studying at Kent University a masters in Film (with practice), and she is working on a short documentary that will be released in Summer 2026. Lotous has a undergraduate degree from the Open University, BA (Honours) Arts and Humanities (Creative Writing and Philosophy). She has contributed articles to the Greek magazines Strange, Yoga World, and Zenith, and to the collective book Ghosts from the publisher Agnosto. She is the author of a self-help book on Amazon and three personal diary books with entries and short stories. She has also co-written, with Daniela Damianidou, the screenplay for the award-winning short film White Blood about bone marrow donation. Lotous is working for Square Pegs Arts theatre company. Lotous is autistic, with ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and fibromyalgia. She spoke in third person about herself until the age of four. When she is asked to write about herself, she still does that sometimes.
